Rileys Best Ball Golf Tournament will once again be kicked off by the Media / Managers´ event on Monday May 4th, 2009. The venue will be held at the Canyon Meadows Golf & Country Club.
Peter Tate & BJ Wilson win the 2009 Media / Managers event with a score of 63, 9 under par.
The Rileys Best Ball, Alberta´s largest sanctioned tournament of its kind, encompasses 30 Calgary Golf Association affiliated golf clubs and in excess of 500 of Calgary´s top male professional and amateur golfers and for the past 13 years has also included a ladies side.
The Ladies Golf Association has been holding an annual tournament for 21 years and the two associations merged this tournament 13 years ago.
Rileys Best Ball will continue throughout the summer and will wind up on Sunday, June 21st, 2009 with finals play-offs commencing at 12:00 noon at Canyon Meadows Golf & Country Club.
